I went to aqua-aerobics for the first time today, then I rushed home and interviewed a nice woman on the phone, before heading over to UNSW for my first ukulele lesson.

Fabulous day, but now I cannot lift my arms.

There's ukulele lessons to be had at UNSW? Wow. Am impressed!

I comment occasionally on your fic (I think I've confessed before that I comment far less often than your fic deserves because I have far too many small children and far too little sleep or time) and I not uncommonly skim your LJ on my way through to your fic list as I find your posts amusing and warming. It gives me a feeling of knowing you in some way, though of course we've barely ever interacted. Anyway, I hope you don't mind me saying hi, as you mentioned UNSW and I live just down the road from there (I live between the Racecourse and Centennial Park) and it just feels weird to think we've had such geographical proximity without me actually saying hi. Then again, maybe the that sentiment is weird, in which case, please ignore me!

I might add that I'm rereading your Al/Scorpius fic - the one where James has been kidnapped, and I adore it. I'd quite like to move into that universe, or at least be allowed to visit for a while. I'd happily sleep on the trundle bed in Lily's room. And I don't usually read Next Gen, I just like your writing and characterisations that much. I had good intentions of commenting on the actual fic post but it's likely I'll be too tired to follow through once I finish it. I reread 'Marginal Notes' the other night (a good comforting fic for when life feels a bit rough) the other day and didn't manage a comment. (I finished it in bed on my iphone and commenting via that is a bugger.) The Greengrass sisters in that are wonderful and the humour is a thing of beauty.
