I've been looking at folding bikes, I actually COULD cycle to see you! (Er, from York, not from Sydney, that would be crazy! And involve many laps of a cargo ship ...)

I'll be very impressed indeed if you cycle all the way from York - they do allow bikes on the trains :p

If it's under 100km and not up a mountain, it's an easy day's ride! (Of course, this opinion is absolutely subject to review once I check out the actual roads and likelihood of death thereon ;-))
