Am deep in magazine hell and digging further in, but will be out by Friday, when it will all be at the printers.

In amusing news, after doing all the hair styling for our beauty feature, I also accidentally styled the cover. Those who have met me and know that my personal style hovers between eccentric aunt and cyclonic winds will see the comedy in this. FULL SERVICE EDITING, I tell you!

In other news, Shadow of His Wings is back in the internet, which makes the whole internet a happier place.

And I have to write a fic, because I had the bright idea of volunteering to podcast for the Christmas fest, thinking, I've got some Christmas fics! but then realised that one of them is FAR too long, and that the short one had already been nabbed by someone else. And Mr B broke my microphone and STILL has not bought me a new one. Which is why you have not heard my ukulele playing, which has progressed! My singing voice is yet to fully recover from death flu, though. But my lungs mostly have, hurrah! Anyway, am sure I will think of something. Probably about 57 minutes before it is due.

Am outrageously behind on flist, hope to catch up this weekend, though I may spend it in a coma depending on how the next few days go. And now, sleep! Miss you all!

Ooh, and HAPPY BIRTHDAY to marguerite_26, acromantular and phoenixacid now it is the 11th here! Fab people like the three of you sharing a birthday makes me see how people can believe in astrology and numerology. (I put it down to all the best parents shagging in February rather than wasting money on power for heating.)

It would be SO MUCH easier if I had an art director who was in the office and another staff member. Luckily, my freelancers are lovely. Still, I had not not give writer credits for most of the mag, because it was 60% me ... which is just embarrassing. Need more budget, too!

The ukulele is a cheering thing. This playing all the right notes and in time thing is harder than it looks though. Tell Mr Rai I have new-found respect for guitarists.

And SoHW was taken down for a while after someone podcasted it without permission. Thankfully, was back last night.

Really do need some ponies, though. Will schedule a ride once I have my brain back.

I am down to the last five stories to send to the printer, so it has all come together, but deadline week is mad. Still, you're quite right that it's far better than many of the options, work-wise!
