It is 8.10 on Sunday morning

I am awake, after a grand total of about 3 hours of sleep, and I am so filled with delight after The Day of the Doctor that I am not sure I can go back to bed.

No spoilers, because I know a lot of Aussies will be watching it tonight, but it is a thing of great joy and beauty and if you do not breathe a little gasp of surprise and wipe away a tear in the last five minutes, then you are Gen Y or lacking a soul.

Oh Doctor … it is the only show that I was allowed to watch as a child, you know. My father was wise.

Sorry about that! Though not really :-) I had to sleep away a good chunk of Sunday in a bid to return to humanity after getting up at 6.40.

NO, it was totally worth it - I hurt my wrist moving heavy stuff and had to wrap it anyway so I might just as well relax with some dogs on me (to keep me anchored) and watch lots of Dr Who (I had some I needed to see again as well as the Day of). I finished all of Matt Smith's 1st season - I had reasons that I didn't get to watch a lot of TV during that time.
