Oops

That was an unintentional hiatus … Not dead, still in possession of wisdom teeth for another week, at which point I will feel like death warmed up for a few days … Slightly worried that my garden is going to be swept away in the current flooding rains (my lovely tomatoes!) … Australian government continues appalling and morbidly hilarious … So much work still needs to be knocked on the head this month … Have watched TV and am v keen on Bluestone 42 and Sons of Liberty … Absolutely convinced that Actual Samuel Adams was not an eminently shaggable hottie.

Back soon. Summer in Australia = overloaded social calendar or ennervating heat that sucks the ability to type (move/breathe/think) out of you, neither of which is conducive to journalling.

The good news is there'sno aching at the moment, though I have a couple of teeth growing in poorly judged ways, it was only when the one that was half-in and half-out of the gum line got some infection that there was any pain. Six days of antibiotics later all was well and I was once again blessing the memory of Florey and Fleming.

Stephen Harper is political besties with Tony Abbott. It has united two great nations in our mutual appreciation of just how stupid politicians can be and how much they can dismantle. I like to think that we will all come out the other side stronger and wiser!

I HOPE we come through it stronger and wiser (fingers very much crossed). Alas, apathy seems to be the middle name of most Canadians. They might not bother to get out and vote, and we will lose more of our rights and freedoms in the name of "security".
