Belgian flist

Especially those in Brussels. I know that this is low on your priorities, but when you have a minute, if you could just drop a line to say if you're OK, it would be much appreciated. I know that from around the world, we are all thinking of you and holding you close in our thoughts.

AFAIA, my Belgian acquaintance are all okay which is a relief!

Good news! my RL peeps were all fine and on Twitter in minutes, which was a relief. I feel certain LJ people will be OK given statistics, but worry for them nonetheless.

You never know who might have been on the road.

I've had one close call myself.

Both the Belgian Red Cross and Facebook have set up sites/venues to search for or check in with friends and loved ones. Radio said it works both ways; maybe you could try there?

Alas, Livejournal names not super useful :-(

I'm certain they are safe, well is the question. But other priorities have far more weight.

Oh, duh. *facepalm*

Yeah ... one of my closest friends from school lives near Fukushima. The weeks right after the tsunami were ... not pretty. Luckily, another classmate's son works for the German Foreign Office, so we could check her wellbeing without cluttering up communication lines for others who needed them more.

Hope your friends are well. *hugs*
