Police, sirens, big crash!

After an exciting morning spent sorting out all of our e-waste for recycling* and delivering it to the depot, I decided to have a quick nap. Which was interrupted by a siren. Not unusual, this is the inner city, after all. Then another siren. Then quite a few. Then an almighty crash.[Poll #1453860][Poll #1453860]

I went to Paris in January and it was really nice. I was too early, but there is one week or maybe two where every store has massive sales.
I was there around the 8th-12th and there weren't a lot of tourist so anything I wanted to see was easy to get to and not crowded. It wasn't really cold at all, light jacket or sweater weather.

Thanks! The last time I was there was some years ago, so more up to date information is wonderful. Sales, genius! Why didn't I think of that? Money is tight and that would be a good way to make it go further ;-)

And yes, the only thing voting against Scandinavia and the Baltic is that I would need twice as many clothes ;-)
