Police, sirens, big crash!

After an exciting morning spent sorting out all of our e-waste for recycling* and delivering it to the depot, I decided to have a quick nap. Which was interrupted by a siren. Not unusual, this is the inner city, after all. Then another siren. Then quite a few. Then an almighty crash.[Poll #1453860][Poll #1453860]

and on an even more unrelated note...

*snip* He smacked into an innocent ute (Australian vehicle that has a sedan body and a tray-table back, mostly used by tradesmen and farmers), *snip* or overgrown city boys with small dicks who like to over compensate. :P

As for your holiday question I have no opinions but I do have a very important question. Do you have enough room in your port for me to stow away in?

That was all very interesting about the accident.
What kind of idiot doesn't realise that the street is full of cops and leans on his bloody horn for so long that someone in their house has to yell at him to realise he is being a fucking wanker!

Glad nobody was hurt.

As for your holiday poll I'm no good. I've never been further than Sydney. Are you going on a bus tour thing or are you and Mr Brammers just going to mosie around by yourselves?

I could always give them your address >.>

You are welcome to holiday in any Eurpoean city where there's any decent children's activities for entertaining Jnr while I'm sipping fat free hot chocolate with you and Mr Brammers.

Sounds quite exciting. I especially enjoyed the part where you yelled at the berk. *g*

I'm jealous of your fabulous trip. Though next week I'm going to try to post some pics of where I'm living for the next few months - it's insanely beautiful.

Oh bb. Just... oh bb! *pines for you a bit*

I went to Paris in January and it was really nice. I was too early, but there is one week or maybe two where every store has massive sales.
I was there around the 8th-12th and there weren't a lot of tourist so anything I wanted to see was easy to get to and not crowded. It wasn't really cold at all, light jacket or sweater weather.

Much as I would love to have you come here, Oslo is frankly quite meh in winter. I suggest somewhere further south in November or December (because January might crash with my Egypt plans), and then come back and do the North+Baltic next summer!

Europe in Winter? Are you nuts?

I would recommend Provence, having just been there (what do you mean you didn't notice I was gone?) but a local assured me that it's awful in winter. So, actually maybe Paris, because then you could spend lots of time in museums, galleries, etc, and not feel bad about missing everything else.
