Police, sirens, big crash!

After an exciting morning spent sorting out all of our e-waste for recycling* and delivering it to the depot, I decided to have a quick nap. Which was interrupted by a siren. Not unusual, this is the inner city, after all. Then another siren. Then quite a few. Then an almighty crash.[Poll #1453860][Poll #1453860]

Date: 2009-09-20 02:28 pm (UTC)I would recommend Provence, having just been there (what do you mean you didn't notice I was gone?) but a local assured me that it's awful in winter. So, actually maybe Paris, because then you could spend lots of time in museums, galleries, etc, and not feel bad about missing everything else.

Date: 2009-09-20 02:40 pm (UTC)But yes, Paris and Firenze offer much in the way of shopping and gallery-going, which is really the main exercise. If I can convince Mr Brammers that he likes Europe, we will follow up with a nice long spring trip in the next year or two.
