Urgh ...

It is 37C here today, which is 98.6 in Fahrenheit. I believe we may have sorbet for dinner. There is STILL A MONTH OF SPRING TO GO. Apparently, I am going to die in summer, alas.

And if there are any anthropogenic climate change deniers out there, just keep it to yourself as I am liable to blow steam out of my ears at the moment. I miss the days of simple El Niños ...

I hope the dessert bar has council approval. And opens soon. And is full of iced desserts and a wee bit of air-conditioning. I'm happy to pay extra for their carbon offsets!

The windows weather thingo says it is 33 degrees here but it is 6:40 pm to so it was probably hotter earlier.

Thank the stars for my mother buying me a climate control air con this past February.

All I can say is this weather is freaking ridiculous and that I will be turning into a hermit at this rate.

Yay for your cooler! Boo to the outside! BOM says the peak was around 39.2 at 4-ish, which was when I was getting home, lop a couple off that for Erko as it is a little less Festival of Tarmac over this way. Boo hiss!

I thankfully had an attack of brains this morning and drew all the curtains and blinds, so the house was probably high 20s at its worst and has been cooling down quickly since the breeze began to blow a tiny amount. Mr Brammers used the fan, I got by with a nap.

(BTW, do you ever geek out and read through the BOM site? I love it! Both the readings: http://www.bom.gov.au/products/IDN60900.shtml and the radar: http://www.bom.gov.au/products/IDR714.loop.shtml#skip I waste ages looking at that radar ...)
