Mr B has been in mild disgrace for spending far too much time on internet spaceships and far too little on everything else.

A short while ago, he appeared in the living room with a smile. 'I am being thoughtful and loving,' he declared.

He pulled his hands out from behind his back. In one, a giant chocolate frog. In the other, Kevin McCloud DVDs. He really does love me!

Thanks, dear! Though I feel it will be best served by going to bed quite soon ... enough Grand Designs for one day!
