Does anyone, preferably in Australia, have or know someone with 6 1/2 E (Australian, I think it's the same as American) feet who would like a nice pair of slightly high heels in bordeaux? Cute button detailing (not as cute as the Fluevogs, but not bad at all). Worn to one wedding between having foot in cast and having foot of normalish size 11 years ago and never worn again, but they cost a small fortune and are classically styled, so I'd love them to go to someone. Happy to take and send a photo! THERE'S A POSSIBLE TAKER FOR THESE, BUT FEEL FREE TO REGISTER INTEREST IN CASE THEY'RE NO GOOD WHEN SHE TRIES THEM ON :-)

Don't suppose anyone wants a pair of tan ethical converse-like trainers in a 37 European? Worn about five times and with a bit of paint on them, but in a cool way so you will look like a hipster artist, rather than someone who walks through paint. (Although the actual splash did in fact come from walking through paint, shhh ...)

Also, I have a spare copy of the Girl Genius Omnibus, volumes 1-3 of the comic in black and white as they originally appeared before later being colourised into sexiness. Amazon sent one, it went to Oompa Loompa Land as my post sometimes does, they sent another, because they do have excellent customer service, for Satan. The second arrived, two months later, so did the first. They said give it to someone nice, so put your hand up if you would like that to be you! Again, Oz postage is nice, but I think it should be all right to send anywhere, unless the US have that stupid bloody surcharge for scanning on small paper packages, too, in which case, it won't be worth it!

Off for more cleaning!

The shoes sound interesting - I wear a 6 1/2 in some styles (7 in others) but the E fitting may be a little wide.... though I guess I wouldn't know unless I tried them on. Pseudicide is visiting me this coming weekend - is pony express an option?
But I already have both the bl & w omnibus plus the colour deluxe GG books....

I can send them down if she's up to lugging! Hurrah!

Thank you. If they don't fit, I shall return them to you... don't know anyone else here with my size feet.

I'm a likely candidate - I usually wear a 7 because I can't get a 6 or 6.5 wide enough. I'm actually part duck. If they don't work for shu shu, I wouldn't mind a chance to try them on.

Hurrah! Well, I will leave it to the two of you to sort something! Would be lovely if it could be this weekend so Deense could drag em back if they don't Cinderella either of you :-)

I'd love to see a photo regardless! I adore shoes.

Plus, I am a size 6 1/2... but what does the E mean? Is that the width?

E is the width, they are well wide! I suspect they'll be too wide for shu-shu, but she can send them back if they don't fit and I can post them on down to you. It's like Cinderella here ...

They'd probably be too wide for me too unfortunately. So better leave them to somebody else. :) I basically am your average size 6 1/2 (whatever the average width for that is). The best fit I have is the 6 1/2s from Diana Ferrari.

Yeah, if you're a B, they would swim. Want a pair of only slightly paint-spattered tan ethical Converse-like trainers in a 37? (They say that equates to a 6, but it's more like a 6 1/2, or even a snug 7)

Unfortunately (for my feet anyway!), I usually live in heels so I'd probably never wear them. I think I only have three pairs of flats that I wear out of the hundred or so pairs of shoes I own. *g*

MADNESS! I have the shoe collection my mother would have wanted for me when she was in her most radical 1970s lesbian phase, plus a couple of pairs she now approves of in her kinkier dotage ;-)

Mmmmmmmmm shoes.

I'm the wrong size but hoping you'll post pictures because they sound cute.

As soon as I work out where I have tidied my camera to ...

I was thinking exactly that! Then I had to stop and wonder why do I want to see photos of shoes I can't fit and will never see? There is really no good reason for this (but I'd still like to see pictures, who wants to succumb to logic)

Ooo! Oooo! Girl Genius! Pick me, pick me!
(Does the one arm up and waving, other hand helping to keep it up and joggling on the spot pleeeeease notice me dance.)

It's yours! Though you'll have to wait until you're back from the US, then I'll get it down to you. Postage to there is already ridiculously $$ and the last two things I sent attracted an extra security scanning fee. NATIONALISE THE LOT OF IT, I SAY!

I am too old! I was up at the magazine shop the other day, wearing vintage, with my hair all cool from the hairdresser, ukulele under one arm and rolled-up art paper under the other, flicking through a magazine on typography, when I suddenly caught a glimpse of myself in the window, realised what a wanker I looked like, and fled (after putting the mag down) because only people under 30 should get away with that sort of thing!
