Oh I'm glad you liked that line! Yeah, Helene is tough and smart, and Draco was always more upfront with her than Harry ever was with Ginny, though he was also faithful and tried very hard, so she can never hate him, she can only pity him a little.
Ginny has her suspicions, has always had them for that matter, and the only person who thinks as she does is Ron, or at least so they believe, but if they ever thought to ask George, they'd both learn a lot. And the boys have their fathers' interactions fully sussed, they're just not quite there on the reasons for them. Give them another chapter or two ...
As for Draco, he spends too much time hanging out with Aurors at work, and hey, he survived a lot back in the War days, so why should that change now?
