Amusing, and sad

Was reading Ring for Jeeves the other day and burst out laughing. Colonel Aubrey Wyvern's third-rate domestic staff are named Trelawny and Bulstrode.
Also, Happy Birthday
raitala! And happy birthday for tomorrow,
draykonis.
In sad news, Min cat is now out of chances and is living out her last weeks with all the salmon she can fit in. The lovely vet assistant from the uber vet dropped round her pain meds this evening. She doesn't need them tonight, but it's good to have them. Poor brave kitty.

Date: 2008-03-07 02:21 pm (UTC)Alas, no, it's through her windpipe, and any operation that could remove it all would be too traumatic for her at this stage. Though we did both buy lottery tickets so that we could say to the vet: "Bugger the cost! Is there a miracle cure you've always wanted to try?"
But on the other hand I've seen people through their last days of cancer and at some stage the cure is what kills you. As it is, she is comfortable and having fun. That's something good.
