Look, I really dislike Twilight, but even I think this is taking things too far ... http://www.smh.com.au/entertainment/movies/man-dies-at-twilight-screening (URL left as is for those who can't be bothered clicking.)

That poor man. Imagine your last moments being spent with Edward.

LOL - poor guy, indeed! I know it's not appropriate to laugh, but that's too weird for words. And of course your remark "Imagine your last moments being spent with Edward" did nothing to help. ;DDD

I rather hope he was a massive fan and died happy, and at the end of the film. I always thought the worst thing would be to go halfway through something you were enjoying!

Oh dear. I couldn't help but giggle, and then feel bad for the poor guy. If he was gay, it wouldn't have been so bad - Edward (or more specifically, whatshisface the actor) is not my cup of tea, but Jake spends most of the movie with his shirt off, and I am quite shallow and perfectly prepared to accept the movie on the basis of the hotness of its cast. Well, that and the film is delightfully misguided and awful and therefore made to mock.

Yes, I am hoping that he was having a really good time right up to the moment he shuffled off. But what a thing to have in your death notice ...

What. O__o;;

Poor man. Only 23.

So many news of death. I'm a bit depressed now.

That's practically OLD in the Middle Ages. But yeah, kind of rubbish these days. Poor lad.

Well, I can imagine a bloke's wedding tackle shrivelling and dropping off, in such a girly film, but dent realise it could be fatal!!

I've decided to hope that he was a big fan and having a great time, rather than it being his brain's desperate bid to end the torment. It's happier that way!

Maybe he was infected by the excitement of all the Twihards around him, or the fear that he might have to declare whether he was Team Edward or Team Jacob was too much for him..... its relly kind of sad, but I hope for him that he was a fan and did enjoy the last moments of his life.

Yes, I agree with you that is the best thing to hope for. And as for having to declare teams: it's not as though he was in the running for the US Supreme Court ...

He was there by himself so he must have been at least a semi- interested fan.

Maybe the excitement of Taylor Lautner's bazillion ab muscles was just too much for him.

The poor young man.

Maybe he died of boredom. My husband and I almost did after forcing ourselves to sit through Eclipse yesterday.

Well, I'd heard the movie was quite boring...

Or maybe he's part Elvish and died of a broken heart?
