Serendipity

It is pissing down for the fifth or sixth day in a row, so I have come in for a couple of hours before dinner and am sitting on my bed, in my thoroughly pleasant hotel in Firenze, watching A Room With A View.

Splendid.

(Though I fear I may be a chaste, old, Lucy Honeychurch.)

(Either that or a slightly better preserved Miss Lavish.)

Ah Simon Callow -- I never expected to know his bits so well. And I am filled with the urge to write bad romantic fiction about everyone I meet while travelling ;-)
