Since I last posted photos of the cats, they have grown somewhat ...

This is the Cookie in her position of power at the top of the tower. From here she can survey her demesne, and demand pats. It's not readily obvious from the shot, but her eyes are a lovely sea green.

This is the Monster, slugging around in her Monsterly fashion. She has an incredible gift for not carrying balls of wool or toys about whenever there is a camera handy. The toy you can see at her back paws was being held winningly in her mouth as I was opening the camera case. She is still growing into her various body parts, as you can see, though the emo facial expression she is wearing is a common feature of this kitten.

And here's an artistic rendering of the Cookie! by the wonderful [personal profile] leochi!

They have a number of special places they like to hang out, the tunnel being one of the top three ...

The tower being another ...

And, of course, the new favourite, the empty shelf on the new bookshelves ...

And, of course, there are never any disputes over who has what space at any given time.

You can feel the love, can't you?

Also, as promised, the Duck of Rundle Mall.

No, I can definitely see a nail in that Duck's foot. *nods*

Your kitties are very cute. Mine are annoying. They have the kitty run from heaven, two cat trees, a tunnel, and more toys that you can poke a stick at. Are they happy? Not on your life. *growls*

AND they're a pair of rimming freaks, which is only mildly embarrassing in company. Fortunately most of our company just takes notes. >.>

I'm sure I had something else of a profound nature to say. Instead I'll go back to reading fic and not being at the gym.

I WANT YOUR KITTY RUN! And I assume the cats probably do, too. They just have the pokey little house and my wool collection, but they seem happy and non pervy. Yours are clearly rebelling due to all the privilege. Run away to Europe and leave them for a month, that'll show 'em!

I think you may be entirely right about mine being over privileged. I suspect we gave them too much attention/excitement as kittens as we were on a major puppy loss rebound, so now they constantly want input/attention.

I should mention that cat walking is a dangerous business, and I now have one arm that is covered in enough betadine to make even Cal's bum happy. :D

Come see the kitty run. >.>
