Dear catsintheattic, nenne and groolover,
The reason that your Christmas cards have not appeared is that I just found them stuffed into my gym bike pannier, rather than my work and useful things pannier, where they have been hanging out for the last seven or eight weeks.

I am an idiot.

I'll try to hold onto them for next Christmas, and in the meantime, expect something random in the post, eventually ;-)

(This is dumber than the time I put my sunglasses in the fridge. They've been in there under my bike seat cover the whole time, which has been resting at the bottom since it's not rained at any time when I have been at the gym, until today, when I got to to the whole 'What?! Oh BUGGER!' dance slightly wet.)

It was meant to be there before Epiphany! I have such a good system with my panniers, usually, but will be doubly careful about checking through them every week to make sure I never mix things up again!

When did you become Chinese? lol My Nana (short a's) says Ah-so a lot. LOL Very funny woman. Love her to bits. Birthday coming up, eh? Any big plans? I was telling push about mine for the big three-oh. Haha. I am so tired and will be going to bed now that work is over for the night. Hope it gets cooler down there soon.

Oh, I have spent my life surrounded by Chinese people, in almost every country I have lived in. One of the things that made me OK with moving to Australia was how Chinese parts of it are!

Sadly, I have learned bugger-all in the way of useful words, because most of my Chinese friends are second- or third-generation, so it's really just groans of complaint from sundry grandmothers that I have picked up. One of the most useful words EVER!

Er, yes, am turning really quite old, so I have a ukulele lesson and dinner with the lad planned. At the edge! If it does not flood to such an extent that the buses stop. At least the house is halfway up a hill!

Yeah, I don't speak Chinese very well. And my mobile thinks my Japanese sucks... and my English, German, and Spanish... so... hooray for Siri being useful in a pinch, right? lol

Aiya is one of my favourite expressions. It can mean so many things. Surprise, annoyance... take your pick. LOL

You're as old as you feel, right? Or at least my mum says that. She's 63 or possibly 64. I've lost track.

As long as you're doing what you enjoy... sounds like perfection, to me. :)
