I'll tell you this. If I weren't married (because he's never leaving the state, let alone the country) and it wasn't difficult to move to another country and live there for the rest of my life, I totally would.
Things like this make me embarrassed and sad that I'm American. This is not who I am and my country is definitely not representing me (or millions of people like me) to the best of their abilities.
America isn't the great place people seem to think it is. We actually kind of suck when it comes to basic human rights.
But I think I better shut up now before the FBI or the NSA or whatever other flavour of the week National agency finds out and suddenly no one can find me.
