Jones's new human and his cousin came to pick our little kitten friend up today. They seem very nice.

Monster is thrilled he is gone.
Cookie is a bit 'Oh, he wasn't that bad …'
I am missing him horribly.

Off to new adventures, he thanks you all for your good wishes.

And if it doesn't work out, we will have him back in an instant!

Sympathies. Good on you for making the choice you think's best for him.

I hope it is. When we were putting him in the carrier, he was all 'Humans! No!' I am consumed with guilt, as well as missing him!

That's hard. I sometimes wonder how people can foster pets for shelters until they are adopted. Wouldn't you just want to keep all of them? I hope is new home is ideal for him.

If it's not, we have told them we will take him back in an instant! I am still sad, and Cookie is also missing him a bit. Monster is all 'Ding Dong, the witch is dead!' She is our evil cat.

So glad the new humans seem deserving!
*pats you* Aww, you did the good thing, and your cats at least are happy.

But those kitties do have a way of sneaking into your heart and stealing it, don't they?

Cookie has been missing him a bit. She came and sat next to me while I was sewing and then bundled herself into the fabric the way he had been doing to try to cheer me up. She is the best cat.

I do miss him, Leochi! He is such a charming little fellow. Is it wrong that I am hoping he doesn't get on with the dog? I will buy them a bigger cat if he doesn't and he can come back here.

It's good that you found people to care for your kitten. It's always sad to have that empty spot, but this just gives you reason to play with the other kitties more.

Some cats are so charismatic - you made us all love him. I had one of those once, a cute as pie little ginger with personality to burn named Piglet, but unfortunately he didn't live long due to a virus he caught from his mother, who caught it from his father during the one night of wild passionate love. She died of it too a couple years later. I still have the aunt kittie, though, sitting next to me many years later.

It will get better for everyone with time.
