The thing I find so dull about British characters on American TV is that if the character is wonderful and jolly and much loved they invariably sound like they are from Liverpool or from within St.Mary-le-Bow's precincts. But if they are sinister and haughty they have the whole posh Oxbridge RP accent going. Drives me bonkers. It's as if anyone from Cheapside couldm't be anything but a fun-loving moron.

Peace,
Bubba

One day those writers will hear about the Kray brothers, and they will be SO embarrassed!

I've not, but it is on my list of things I one day will.

Hearts as pure and fair
May beat in Belgrave Square
As in the lowly air
Of Seven Dials.

"Jack: I own a house in Belgrave Square...
Lady Bracknell: ... what number in Belgrave Square?
Jack: '149'

Lady Bracknell: (shaking her head): The unfashionable side, I thought there was something.

However,that could easily be altered."
