HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! To ...

The lovely, thoughtful and terrifically talented [livejournal.com profile] bryoneybrynn ! I still remember the first time I 'met' you, when I fell over Certain Dark Things one evening and proceeded to laugh, hold my breath and read like a maniac through the hours. When you started replying to my comments, I knew that you weren't just a good writer, you were a friend, and it has been a delight to know you ever since. You make me remember that my characters will occasionally cry, and that my punctuation skills are of genuine use to some people ;-) Have a lovely one, darling!

Young, bright and delightful [livejournal.com profile] sarcasticpixie  is also allegedly ageing a little today, but I cannot believe it, she is the ever-youthful Ella mum, even though there is a new Yingcat on the scene (Usurper!). Susu, I hope that this year is filled with sane workmates, appropriate health, well-behaved angel cats and no frog! I hope for lovely cake and wonderful presents for you!

And to [livejournal.com profile] gwenivere73 , I don't know you as well as Bry and Susu, alas, but I hope this day is just as wonderful for you!

Oh, and [livejournal.com profile] fromafrozenland ? No double up wishes! :-P

Thanks darling *squishes you* I remember it well - you told me to strap dusters to Ben's knees so he could clean as he crawled, thus leaving me more time to write more CDT. lol Wise advice from a wise woman. And dear god, your punctuation skills will always be needed by me. What's a comma even for other than looking pretty when inserted at random? ;)

Also, don't bother with fromafrozenland. She's an emo hor! lol

HEE! Ah emo frozen, how we love you ...

But I tell you, convincing babies and toddlers that cleaning is fun is THE WAY to a happy life!

Blithely ignoring topic, sorry :)

I have discovered that writing fic is similar to getting tatooed/pierced, in that I've got 3/4 of the way through writing what was definitely going to be my one and only foray into this particular seamy underbelly of LJ, and I now have half a page of scribbled ideas for future efforts. Damn you! The lack of sewing is entirely your fault, and I adore you for it! XXX

YES YES YES!

Er ... sorry about being such a bad influence. Do make sure you sew things, too.

Yes, alright. I am getting a package of things ready to sew at Great Northern War (smocking mostly, but also sets of table linen).
