A complete side note
Sep. 20th, 2007 12:14 amI once went home with a busker, which is not really apropos to this entry except to say that the film Once therefore made complete sense to me.
I decided I must own the soundtrack, which led to many hip young people telling me it was sold out, until in the 11th record store (I am fortunate to live in an are that has 11 record stores) they had a copy sitting on the counter, waiting for me.
I mentioned the search to the young thing at the counter, who said "You could have downloaded it faster."
I replied: "Cover art." Then looked down to see it was a photo of Glen Hansard, whose beauty is in his voice. But the principle remains ...
