Happy birthday to [livejournal.com profile] nolagal and [personal profile] meri_oddities ! You are two of the nicest people on my flist and your friendship has brought me many smiles in the time we have known each other!

And, because I am hopeless at these things, Happy late birthday to [livejournal.com profile] gossymer , who rocks an outrageous amount. You make things better around you. The same can be said for [livejournal.com profile] knic26 , you remain so thoroughly cool that I am in awe. And to [livejournal.com profile] tsosh , sharer of one of the great birthdays of the year, owner of one of the great kittens of the world, and all round damn nice woman.

And happy birthday for yesterday to [livejournal.com profile] loghorea ,  you don't really say much, but you always word it so beautifully!

Alas, I am still suffering a lack of talent, but the fics I have under construction are increasingly well edited! There was a message on my phone that sounded as though it could have been my talent, I could hear loud music playing in the background, and a slurred message that, as far as I could work out, said 'Listen, relax! I'll be back!  Bring in some good Scotch and I'll make it snappy! Femme's talent has found her undies and Emerald's has stopped playing darts with Winstonmom's will to homework, it's all winding up here!'

It sounded as though it was going to say something else, but someone shouted 'Free chocolate' and the call ended suddenly.

Pssst.

Oh good lord ... I'm intrigued, but I MUST finish things. If it is still homeless in the new year, feel free!

Whenever you want it.

Sometimes a change is as good as a rest, was my thought.
