I know that I am technically two and a bit hours late for yours, but it is still your birthday for AGES in Hawaii, so I hope that the day has brought and will continue to bring you wonderful things (that put you into such a good mood that you ignore the tardiness of others ...)

suttonwriter , I've made it in time to pass on well wishes to you, though I am months behind in our discussion on the difference between canon and class. I wrote more Fathers, and there's more to come, I was hoping you might take that in the same spirit as the cake I would make you were I your neighbour and a fortnight late in returning the bowl I borrowed (which I would be). Your brain is a wonderful place to be allowed insights into, thank you for sharing it with us and I hope that this year brings you much contentment and success. Also, presents and cake!

And now I am running away to be in bed before three. Shush. Three more work days and I have four weeks off in which I can DO things, including sleep! Anyway, there is a bat squawking outside my window, so I'm going to be lying there for hours thinking of non-sparkly vampires ...

I did see (and have read) the new section of Fathers. Unfortunately, I'm visiting my dad, and his internet is having issues. As a result, I'm holding off on commenting until I'm sure the comments won't get eaten by a fussy wifi link. I ought to be able to do something more by the end of the week, when I'm back in Jersey.

Until then, let's just start with AWESOME!!!! Much better than cake, especially on the calorie front. More detailed response to follow. . .
