Of on the epic journey from the anitpodes to the podes tomorrow, but I have just been struck by something.

For anyone seeking to understand how living in modern Australia is increasingly a productive balance between the West and the Orient, I have just waxed my Barbour jacket and ironed my furoshiki.

In my only disturbing travel news, I have been to four shops and been unable to source bags of Violet Crumble! WOE!

I want to send some to lordhellebore in germany as part of her christmas/birthday present because she'd never heard of honeycomb! :O I will have to make her some instead.

There are still the bars, but not the lumpy ones. I am going to try the small corner shops in the morning before I fly out.
