Of on the epic journey from the anitpodes to the podes tomorrow, but I have just been struck by something.

For anyone seeking to understand how living in modern Australia is increasingly a productive balance between the West and the Orient, I have just waxed my Barbour jacket and ironed my furoshiki.

In my only disturbing travel news, I have been to four shops and been unable to source bags of Violet Crumble! WOE!

I will take pics, but Blondie has not yet set up the computer that will allow me to post them online. She seems very willing to show them off, as she is now experimenting with some new noises (mostly this involves opening her mouth wide and shouting/hooting/yodelling at the top of her tiny-but-powerful lungs...)
