My gift fic at the AS/S fest posted, and it's SO ME! Politics and journalism, my friends, politics and journalism.

Follow the link, nice and short, delicious, delightful and delovely little kick to the end. I have my Suspicions As To The Author, and will be resisting the urge to poke Bryoney until she squeals like an adorable little miniature pig. Not that she looks like one, aside from the huge soulful eyes. But she does squeal like one, my friends, oh yes, she does.

I keep telling people to check out this fest, there's an awful lot of good stuff! Check out By the Book, if you haven't already, too, it's fabulous, as is Potter Shaped Malfoy.

Postings end in a few days, and I am mightily tempted to play the guess my fic game, except I suspect that I am depressingly obvious.

ETA 5 degrees C overnight here, pingrid! Actual winter! and about 9 degrees at 4pm today. Okay, so not winter on the scale of Oslo, or Glasgow, or even Christchurch, but I could have done with a coat rather than the lightweight jackets that are my Sydney staples!

I understand about the houses. We have relatives in italy and they need to sleep with hats and mits on because those stone houses just don't keep any heat.

I'd rather be here in the winter and properly dressed and sitting in front on my fireplace :D

Yes! Exactly! Though I should be used to it because my grandparents' place in Sussex was the same. I grew soft, I tell you!

I would rather be in a Canadian interior, but not exterior, you chaps have it grim! A friend of mine was talking to Canadian pilgrims the other week, the refused to believe it was winter. Admittedly that week was more 12-20 deg C ;-)
