Of course it was equestrian again. Hiroshi Hoketsu, my friends. Japanese millionaire and pharmaceutical management guru. Rode in the 1964 Olympics, putting in a very creditable showjumping performance. Now, 44 years later, back in dressage. He's 67 years old.

His horse is lovely, but was spooked early on in the dressage test by a plane going over (one of the MAJOR downsides of the Hong Kong equestrian centre, along with those stupid big screens) and bolted out of an extended walk. Hiroshi collected his mount and finished his test beautifully, calming his nervous mare and completing with a passage that was textbook.

You can read about his history here. Apparently it is never too late ;-)

AS/S fest reveals are up, so I will be reposting my story shortly as soon as I finish beta-ing a very cool fest story from a bright new writer. Cup of tea and posting break = sorted.

Speaking of answering e-mails, when does your flight get into Adelaide next Friday?

Oh shush! I'm not logged into that email and will get to your question shortly. SO impatient! I'm going to pattern all your clothes so your breasts are uneven :-P

Yes I am impatient, and my friends think I am patient.

Oh you have no idea how lopsided my body really is, poor Ismay. Speaking of patterning, would it make your life easier if I was to dig up my patterns for my green frock and the german frock?

From: [identity profile] blamebrampton.livejournal.com
I have never thought you were patient ;-P

Yes, it would be lovely to have the old patterns. And make it easier to point your breasts in different directions :-P!

That's probably because you told me from the beginning that I will need to nag you ;-)

Clue #1: the extended Weasley is there and they are not spiteful and, in fact, they are very nice to Draco & Scorpius.

Clue #2: the presence of a female character that is helpful to the main pairing (Lily's role reminds me of Hannah's in BBS, except she's more involved because she's Albus' sister).

Clue #3: one of the banters that occurred between Harry and Draco came across as very funny in the way that their banters in An Act of Simple Devotion and BBS were funny (if I recall, it was the one about Draco offering Harry to join in his and Charlie's open relationship).

Let's face it, BB, you're one of my top favorite fanfic authors and I would know what you write because I religiously read your fics over and over and over and over and over... and did I say, over and over again?

Yay! Can't wait to read your reply and notes. *jiggles*

Clue two was thanks to a prompt from the giftee, she wanted loads of Lily, but yeah, I do try to have the female characters be real and have genuine friendships within the stories I write.

Should I send you some books? I fear for you reading my fics more than once, that cannot be the path to sanity! XXX BB

OMG you wrote Snatched! AS/S fest has posted reveals and wheee!

I did, and your rec made me metaphorically clutch you to my bosom and dance around the house, before showering you in flowers and chocolate. I recognise that that the dancing may not be very helpful at the moment, but thank you so much!

*gets to keep Art Deco hat* *is pleased* YAY for Snatched! It really held me hostage the entire day, I could hardly concentrate on anything before I'd finished it. Brilliant. :D

Is relieved, Hats Matter!

Thanks so much for your cheering on it, I felt very chirpy after reading your comment! Hee, hostage joke, you funny!

Oh god, I didn't even realise that I'd made a hostage joke. *is dim* Must be the subconscious, always popping up somewhere or other. :) And Snatched deserves every bit of squee it got, and tons more!
