It's not always easy to completely avoid Max in a group of 20 or so guests, but we either change the subject or blatantly ignore him when he starts spewing his drivel. At least his wife is bearable and rather sensible, but he's already drawn his oldest son into the party with him. *shudders* But what can you expect of a guy who still refers publicly to "Polacks" and named his three children Gerald, Arnulf and Alrun? (Seriously. Guess he used the Nibelung Saga for inspiration ...)
