Kitty picspam, and a duck.
Since I last posted photos of the cats, they have grown somewhat ...
This is the Cookie in her position of power at the top of the tower. From here she can survey her demesne, and demand pats. It's not readily obvious from the shot, but her eyes are a lovely sea green.

This is the Monster, slugging around in her Monsterly fashion. She has an incredible gift for not carrying balls of wool or toys about whenever there is a camera handy. The toy you can see at her back paws was being held winningly in her mouth as I was opening the camera case. She is still growing into her various body parts, as you can see, though the emo facial expression she is wearing is a common feature of this kitten.

And here's an artistic rendering of the Cookie! by the wonderful

They have a number of special places they like to hang out, the tunnel being one of the top three ...

The tower being another ...

And, of course, the new favourite, the empty shelf on the new bookshelves ...

And, of course, there are never any disputes over who has what space at any given time.

You can feel the love, can't you?
Also, as promised, the Duck of Rundle Mall.

She looks like she belongs on that bookshelf. :)

which is what she looked like when we found her at the pound. She weighed 2kg then, I think it's safe to say that she is thriving.
And yes, she loves the bookshelf, though she is cranky with me as I took some of the space back for books. Monster has adopted it, though, so it will still be a kitty space.

Cookie is adorably fluffy up top, it's great!
And my cat, Milly, has the same colouring as Monster!
Wow, when cats are involved, I can't stop exclaiming! (I have a problem, k?) ;D

Milly is a great name for a cat! And tortiseshells are always wonderful. I have the same problem, so don't let it worry you!

Cookie on the bookshelves... reminds me a lot of my Aiden. One time, I entered my room and discovered that I actually have a Fluffy Book of Kitteh, which is not part of the curriculum at Hogwarts, on my shelf... just as I was about to read it, it scratched me and asked for a belly rub. Then I realized, it was not a Fluffy Book. It was Her Highness.
But, ooooh, the tower thingie... what is that? Where can I get one? It looks like a good idea to have at home for cats who like to climb to tall places!

The tower of cat power is great. There's a house at the bottom, and then the three levels above. We bought ours at a petbarn, are there any big pet shops near you? We will be adding some high hammocks soon, too.

Can't blame Cookie for the bookshelf. She looks like a million bucks in it.
Thanks for sharing.

And yes, there will never be any books on that shelf ...

Your kitties are very cute. Mine are annoying. They have the kitty run from heaven, two cat trees, a tunnel, and more toys that you can poke a stick at. Are they happy? Not on your life. *growls*
AND they're a pair of rimming freaks, which is only mildly embarrassing in company. Fortunately most of our company just takes notes. >.>
I'm sure I had something else of a profound nature to say. Instead I'll go back to reading fic and not being at the gym.
