I think I have a tiny bit of time to get this in on the day, and can only blame coughing-related sleep deprivation (illness itself clearing up neatly, ability to sleep through night gone for a few days), however:
HAPPY BIRTHDAY thisgirl_is! I am utterly crap at staying in touch, but so happy to know you. I WILL organise things better in future so that we can have more hat-related adventures wherein we educate random young men on feral species control and stalk the Duchess of Cornwall! I hope you've had a lovely day, and at some random point in the future, more knitwear will get to you :-)

It's only been a week, which is what you expect for colds. The crappy thing is that I am almost better from the cold, but because I always end up with post-viral coughing thanks to my amazingly deviated septum and the huge amount of snot it lets me inhale (Mmmmm, snot!), I keep coughing myself awake at night, so the sleep deprivation is the punishing thing at the moment …
