Clearly I wasn't satisfied with a broken thumb …

Note the attractive rash beneath the thumb. Allergic to the paper tape that holds my splint on.

Also, iPad: What's with the arm-widening foreshortening? Harsh!

In good news, swelling and bruising well down, gouges healing. Hurrah!

The break is a bit achey, but I'll find out tomorrow how well it's healing. Hopefully fine: just USELESS for all the crafty stuff I had lined up to knock over this month.

The allergy was more itchy than stingy once the tape came off. Happily, I had some skin cream that helped soothe it, and the chemist stocks hypoallergenic tape! But yes, Sod's law indeed! It's like when I had a broken nose and caught a cold! Actually, it's nowhere near that bad ;-)
