Yes it is. I've heard the reason that they're called Tasmania Devils is that when they mate it sounds like something from the bowels of hell it this true. But they are sooo cute though *{hugs}*
Sort of cute ... Like mad little dogs that can gnaw your arm off ... And yes, that is an accurate description of the sound. If you die in part of the Tassie bush that still has devils, they will eat everything save the belt buckles. So hikers are advised to wear distinctive buckles ...
