And to all, a good night …
Dec. 25th, 2012 11:58 pmMerry Christmas, my dears!
I have succeeded in singing carols with
pushdragon at an actual church, which did not burn down at the sight of us. St James in the city of Sydney, beautiful music, lovely parishioners, fabulous company!
I was the lucky recipient of several lovely gifts, and Mr B told me he had plans to buy me a ukulele amp. Greater love hath no man …
I have some beautiful cards I need to say thanks for, too, as soon as I am awake enough to spell names. Only a few hours sleep last night, because …
I made gifts! Every child had a pressie! Almost all handmade, though I ran out of time for two, but had some good stand-by pressies in case that happened. They can get their made ones for Easter.
I ate SO MANY VEGETABLES and then I ate so much dessert. Surely that balances out?
My friends were spectacular, and we may have ended up with a spare cat for a year. These things happen.
I failed to write the next chapter of the Tidings of Comfort story, but will try to get it up soon.
I also failed to buy a charity gift for everyone, which I will rectify before the New Year, but cannot face the choices at this point in the day.
I did not remain taller than my friend N, who is 11. Ah well.
I hope that you all have at least as lovely a day as I have!
