Mr Brammers and I went to Tasmania when we were in our early years together and he leapt out of the car on Mt Wellington (tallest moutain in Hobart) to plunge his hands into a snowdrift, whereupon he leapt back, shrieking 'IT'S REALLY COLD!'
He is from Queensland and northern New South Wales, so I believe he had seen snow exactly twice beforehand.
