On Friday at lunch, when I was grabbing bags to go out to the taxi, the Monster kitten was shorter than the Cookie cat.

Tonight, I have just looked at the two of them attempting to beg cereal from J, and Monster is definitely taller than Cookie. (And yes, Monster loves puffed wheat. And toast. And crisps. She carbo-loads for the daily round of kitty sprints.)

If I can work out my new camera, I'll post some shots in the next few days. They managed not to eat each other in our absence and only hid one pair of undies in the living room for us to play find the knickers with. Good kitties!

In other animal news, when I went for a little walk around Adelaide this morning, I waltzed out the door of my hotel, straight onto Rundle St Mall, where there was a duck. When I returned from my walk, the duck was still there.

cats are so funny. the foods some of them will eat. my cat doesn't respond to the sound of a can opener, but she responds to a chopping knife being pulled out. anything chopped with THAT knife...she'll eat. onions, potato, peppers, apple...doesn't matter. it's the obssession with the knife. i'm so glad she doesn't has thumbs. i'll never have to worry about her playing with the knife. o_O

AHAHAHAHAHA! What a great cat! Our lovely old Min was very into Thai, which is what comes of being a formerly feral cat in Erskineville. She would even eat the odd chilli, and was particularly fond of nibbling the carrots out of stir fries.

Cookie likes eating tulip leaves, but I try and discourage this because they are no good for her. This means no tulips ...
